POSITION SUMMARY
Catering Assistants are responsible for the daily setup, presentation, and replenishment of the buffet for doctors' lunch. Ensures cleanliness and readiness for the next day’s operations while maintaining high standards of service.
SUMMARY OF ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the Foodservice Operations Executive, the responsibilities and essential job functions of the Catering Assistant are to include but are not limited to the following:
Set up the daily buffet for doctors' lunch. Ensure the buffet is arranged in a professional and presentable manner, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Maintain buffet presentation during service hours. Replenish items as needed and ensure the buffet remains visually appealing and stocked.
Clear the buffet and set up for the next day. Ensure all buffet equipment and serving areas are cleaned and prepared for the next day’s service.
Replenish required items for the next day’s operations. Restock utensils, serving equipment, and other essentials to ensure readiness for the next shift.
Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols. Ensure all setup and clearance activities meet hospital and legal standards for cleanliness and safety.
Collaborate with team members. Work with the foodservice team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
