SUMMARY OF ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the Demi Chef, the responsibilities and essential job functions of the Senior Cook are to include but are not limited to the following:
Prepare meals in accordance with dietary guidelines. Follow detailed recipes and portioning instructions to produce high-quality meals for patients and staff.
Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Assist in inventory management: Monitor ingredient levels and communicate needs to the Chef de Partie or Demi Chef to avoid shortages.
Collaborate with kitchen staff: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal delivery.
Participate in quality control processes: Regularly assess the taste, appearance, and nutritional quality of prepared meals.
