The job
You will play an essential role in understanding AVEVA clients' requirement and business needs, to collaborate with internal teams such as Presales, Product, Industry and Service Delivery, and ensuring the successful implementation of our software solutions adding values to the customers’ business processes, including business process transformation, where required.
You are expected to help bridging the gap between our technology and our clients' business requirements, fostering strong customer relationships, and driving successful project outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Engagement and Collaboration with Customers
To conduct series of interviews and workshops with clients to understand their specific project requirements, business processes, and operational challenges.
Collaborate closely with the Service Delivery team to translate client business needs into actionable project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
To facilitate communication and status meetings regularly with clients, ensuring sharing, consistent expectation alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
You will act as a bridge between clients and internal technical teams, validating client requirements are documented correctly into technical specifications.
To help validate with the technical team the proposed architecture can deliver the client’s business objectives and facilitate the successful adoption of the delivered solution.
To identify business processes, that may need a change to drive full value of our solution.
To identify potential issues related to client engagements and work collaboratively to address them promptly.
Subject Matter Expertise:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis to understand clients' specific industry challenges and pain points.
Work with Industry team to stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them navigate complex industry changes and opportunities.
Partner with Presales, IP’s and Product Sales to offer strategic guidance to clients how AVEVA's solutions can address their industry-specific challenges effectively.
Leverage your extensive industry knowledge to recommend process improvements and optimization opportunities to clients as well as defining key metrics for client’s business improvements.
Project Requirement Framing:
Collaborate with the technical team to define and document technical requirements based on client needs.
Come up with a functional architecture that would deliver the expected outcome to meet client’s business requirements and roadmap.
Participate in monitor and assess the performance of software solutions during the implementation phase, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal functionality as well as recommend business process changes, where applicable.
Support the clarification of project documentation, including functional specifications, technical design documents, and project plans.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and support in meeting minutes, and project milestone achievements.
Collaborate with Service Delivery teams to ensure seamless project reporting and accurate tracking of resource allocation.
Essential requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher education in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Extensive experience with around 12-15 years in business analysis/ consulting in implementing industrial software solutions, with a strong understanding of industry processes and challenges including advising on relevant KPIs, business process changes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
Desired skills
Experience with AVEVA or similar software solutions in the industrial domain.
CBAP Certified or Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, project management or software implementation.
