Responsibilities
Standards & Regulatory Requirement: Supports the planning of the standards and regulatory compliance schedule Management Systems
Risk Assessment: Identifying potential hazards in the workplace and devising strategies to mitigate these risks
Compliance Management: Ensuring that the organization adheres to all relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations
Emergency Response Planning: Creating and maintaining emergency response plans for various potential incidents
Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigating workplace and reporting findings to appropriate parties
Environmental Management: Implementing strategies for waste management, pollution control, and sustainable practices
Health and Wellness Programs: Facilitate Global EHS programs to support employee health and wellness
Continuous Improvement: Regularly reviewing and updating policies and procedures to improve safety standards
Certifications: Lead for both internal and external EHS audit. Investigates non-compliance to determine the root cause, circumstances, and contributing factors. Coordinates, as needed, to ensure that non-compliance findings are closed in a timely manner Reporting · Analyzes information for input to required reporting formats within appropriate time frame
Customer Audit: Lead for any customers’ related support. With include the following standards ISO27001, ISO9000, ISO22301, ISO14001, ISO50001
Regional Compliance Support: Provide the above responsibilities for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand
Qualifications
Proven years of experience in EHS related compliance preferred
Bachelor's Degree in a related subject preferred
MOM certification in Workplace safety and Health preferred
