Job Scope:
Assist with monitoring and maintaining production operations in line with GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, and ISO 22000 standards.
Support food safety and quality control across production, incoming inspections, and QA/QC activities.
Perform routine QC checks according to the HACCP Plan and procedures.
Manage QA withheld products, including sorting and releasing them.
Monitor and implement critical control points (CCP) as per HACCP/ISO standards.
Assist with calibration tasks as per procedure.
Help evaluate complaints and retention samples to determine root causes.
Support management of the QC laboratory, chillers, sample retention, and QA Hold Area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to 5S standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety and worker safety practices.
Collect samples for the product retention program.
Maintain accurate records and file relevant documentation.
Conduct microbial and pH testing for finished products and raw materials.
Perform incoming material testing and review material COAs (Certificates of Analysis).
Prepare chemical solutions for production.
Perform swab tests to verify equipment cleanliness and worker hygiene.
Requirements:
Diploma/NITEC in Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related field.
1-2 years of QA/QC experience in the food industry is an advantage.
Knowledge of food safety standards and laboratory testing procedures.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
