Position Overview:
We are seeking a visionary and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will embrace OFC’s farm-to-table philosophy, curating menus that highlight fresh, locally grown produce and sustainable ingredients. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the restaurant’s culinary direction while fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and sustainability.

2 off days/week
Split Shift per work day (12pm - 3pm, 6pm - 11pm)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop seasonal menus that showcase fresh, sustainable, and locally sourced ingredients.
Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
Collaborate with local farmers and artisans to source high-quality, ethical produce.
Implement zero-waste cooking techniques and optimize kitchen operations.
Ensure high culinary standards, food safety, and consistency in every dish.
Manage cost control, inventory, and budgeting while maintaining sustainability goals.
Work with the front-of-house team to enhance the guest experience through storytelling and engagement.
Organize workshops, chef collaborations, and community events to promote farm-to-table dining.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a reputable restaurant.
Understanding of sustainable and farm-to-table dining concepts.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Creative flair with a passion for using fresh, local ingredients.
