We are a subsidiary in Singapore of a 40 years of global textile manufacturing company looking for administrative assistants supporting HR, Procurement & shipment logistics and new business development.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support across HR functions while supporting the personal and executive needs of senior leadership, Procurement & Warehouse shipment logistics and new business development. These role requires multitasking abilities and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
Administrative assistant & PA duties
Handle and support day-to-day HR and Admin related matters
Maintain accuracy of HR database and updating employee records in HR information system
Check and verify staff attendance for Payroll processing
Check and verify employees’ leave application, medical claims, etc.
Assist in claims submission, government grants, insurance, etc.
Assist in coordinating training and development need for employees
Any other HR/Admin duties assigned & any ad-hoc tasks are required by the manager
Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for senior executives, handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and discretion and ad-hoc tasks are required by the senior managing director
Procurement & shipment logistics, New business development assistant duties
Handling all shipping documents ( L/C, Invoice & packing list, B/L) and related documentation and send it on time where applicable
Assist in Procurement Orders Processing
Assist the senior manager for new busienss development project ( Business trip to overseas is required)
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient communication skills in English and Korean. Korean language skill is not compulsory, but it is a bonus to have.
High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Proficient in Computer Skill such Google / Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Meticulous and have an eye for details, able to multi-task and independent
Capable to handle documentation for trading
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Textile, apparel, garment industries & manufacturing experience/background are desirable
Basic knowledge of Employment Act, IRAS and MOM regulations and HR best practices
Procurement experience in a similar capacity (2~3 years)
