Responsibilities

  • Close partnership with the trading desk to provide high quality operational support across full trade lifecycle, including but not limited to trade management, confirmations, collateral management and settlement for our full cryptocurrency product suite
  • Active participation in driving good client experience via data analytics, improving reporting capabilities and workflow enhancements
  • Manage trade records, reconciliations to ensure data accuracy, validity and completeness across internal trade booking systems
  • Vendor and outsourcing management to ensure operational resilience and regulatory compliance
  • Perform periodic operations risk assessments, horizon scanning and implement or improve necessary controls to mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organisational goals and deliver exceptional client service
  • Support Head of Operations in team management

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial services industry, with at least 2 to 3 years in supervisory capacity
  • Familiar with end-to-end trade lifecycle and working with a trading desk
  • Proven ability to deliver solutions or high impact projects to improve workflows and operating models
  • Proven experience in the design and testing of controls
  • Good interpersonal skill and able to drive change initiatives in a positive manner
  • Experience in Python coding or any other programming language would be advantageous
  • Enjoy solving problems and developing strategies to operate sustainably
  • Knowledge of or interest in crypto assets or blockchain technology would be advantageous
