Job Summary
As Desktop Workstation Lifecycle Manager Planning , – you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of HP’s Workstations portfolio. This is a unique opportunity to lead long-term product vision and strategy while ensuring that our portfolio remains competitive, innovative, and aligned with evolving customer needs.
You will collaborate across business units to analyze the competitive landscape, identify emerging trends, and develop strategies that position HP Workstations as the industry leader. This role demands a combination of strategic foresight, data-driven analysis, and the ability to drive actionable insights that translate into winning products.
Responsibilities
Work closely with GBU and engineering to the creation of future product portfolio strategy that aligns with HP’s vision and business goals.
Identify opportunities to expand into new markets, address emerging customer needs, and capture competitive advantage.
Conduct thorough analysis of the competitive environment, including product offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning.
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and customer feedback to anticipate shifts in the market.
Engage with key customers and industry partners to understand current and future use cases.
Translate insights into product requirements that shape the portfolio roadmap and ensure customer success.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide an E2E solution portfolio to the customers and support sales enablement
Define metrics to evaluate portfolio performance and track progress against strategic goals.
Regularly assess the portfolio’s alignment with market demands and refine strategies as needed.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in product marketing, product design, or a related field.

The base pay range for this role is $130 350 up to $189 000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
