Prince’s Landscape is seeking a dynamic & motivated Safety Coordinator. This role will be responsible for driving best safety practices across the company, and responsible for conducting daily WSH compliance inspections at work sites.
Role Duties:
Assisting in safety inductions and orientations for workers.
Explaining WSH compliance and safe work practices to subordinates.
Participating in WSH inspections and routine safety checks on work activities.
Gathering data on WSH performance, conditions, and practices.
Identifying and reporting non-compliance or unsafe conditions in the workplace.
Delivering safety briefings to relevant stakeholders and intervening in unsafe behaviours.
Coordinating responses to incidents and emergencies, including participation in emergency drills and preparedness plans.
Aiding in the identification of WSH risks and the development of action plans for WSH improvements.
Assisting with risk management (RM) plans and risk assessments in work areas.
Preparing inspection reports, documenting findings, and suggesting corrective actions.
Reviewing safety documents, including permits to work, toolbox meeting records, and conducting safety inspections on-site.
Providing on-site safety training and conducting ad hoc site visits to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Candidate Profile:
Professional certifications in Workplace Safety Health coordinator or equivalent.
WSQ Workplace Safety and Health/First Aid/CPR/Registered Safety Officer certifications is highly advantageous.
Relevant work experience of 1-2 years in safety or health management.
Familiarity with Workplace Safety Health Act
Attention to details and proactive attitude is highly advantageous
