Role Overview
As our first marketing hire, you will be pivotal in establishing and executing marketing strategies that position Red Airship as a trusted partner for digital innovation and custom technology solutions. You will focus on generating qualified leads by showcasing our expertise through impactful content, targeted B2B campaigns, and raising brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
B2B Marketing:
- Work with the sales team to plan and execute account-based marketing (ABM) strategies targeting decision-makers in key industries.
- Create tailored marketing campaigns to engage potential clients through LinkedIn, email, and industry platforms.
- Design and implement lead-generation campaigns using both inbound and outbound tactics.
- Leverage tools like LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and marketing automation platforms to nurture leads.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments for continuous improvement.
Content Marketing, Brand Building, and Thought Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Red Airship's business goals.
- Position Red Airship as a thought leader by creating highly relevant and engaging content.
- Track and make sense of business news and technology trends
- Manage the creation of testimonials, case studies, and client success stories to build trust and credibility.
- Optimise content for SEO to drive organic traffic and improve online visibility.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, client-facing materials.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement social media strategies for TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook to build engagement and brand visibility.
- Create, schedule, and manage posts, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences.
- Monitor and report on social media performance metrics, leveraging insights to refine strategies.
Corporate Website Management
- Maintain the corporate website to align with business objectives and brand identity.
- Ensure the website is optimised for SEO to drive organic traffic and improve discoverability.
- Develop a content calendar to regularly update the website with blogs, case studies, and industry insights.
- Monitor website analytics using tools like Google Analytics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement A/B testing for landing pages and call-to-action buttons to increase lead conversions.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to enhance the site's user experience (UX) and interface (UI).
- Integrate marketing automation tools and CRM systems to streamline lead capture and nurturing directly through the website.
Other Responsibilities
Event Management
- Work with the Sales team to plan, organise, and execute webinars, workshops, and industry events to showcase Red Airship’s expertise.
- Build relationships with industry leaders and speakers to create impactful event agendas.
- Promote events through targeted email campaigns, social media, and partnerships with industry platforms.
PR and Media Relations:
- Build relationships with media outlets, secure coverage for key achievements, and identify opportunities to enhance Red Airship’s visibility through press releases and industry participation.
- Research appropriate industry events, conferences, and webinars for the company to participate in.
Requirements
- Experience: 4–7 years in marketing roles, with a strong focus on B2B and content marketing.
- Industry Knowledge: A background in Business, Journalism, Technology, Digital Products, and Custom Digital Solutions is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Ability to think clearly and critically.
- Experience in simplifying complex technical solutions and concepts for enterprise clients.
- Experience in journalism, mainly writing about technology topics with a business and strategic mindset.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and CRM systems.
- Competency with using AI tools like, but not limited to, ChatGPT and DeepSeek for marketing.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including strong copywriting abilities for crafting compelling content across various channels.
- Proficiency in SEO, content management systems, and marketing automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in tracking and reporting campaign performance.
- Familiarity with account-based marketing strategies and tools.
- Hands-on experience managing social media channels and leveraging them for B2B marketing.
- Understanding of PR and media relations best practices.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
