SASEAF Postdoctoral Fellow
The Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) in School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) is looking for a postdoctoral fellow in applied probability theory and AI. The key objective is to support efforts of the research group of Associate Professor Ariel Neufeld.
The role will focus on theoretical machine learning and stochastic optimization with applications to finance and operations research.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing modern numerical methods to solve optimization problems in operations research and financial mathematics
Guiding research projects within the research group
Supporting research grant applications
Job Requirements:
PhD in applied mathematics or related field
Several years of experience as Researcher in the field of applied probability, numerical analysis, theoretical machine learning, stochastic optimization
