Research Fellow (Biomedical Optics)
The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow in Prof. Tong Ling’s lab (). The Research Fellow will work with our collaborative, interdisciplinary team to develop novel functional neuroimaging technology in a cutting-edge research project funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF) and enjoy rapid personal development in a meritocratic culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build optical imaging setup for functional imaging of the retina
Conduct in-vivo retinal imaging experiments
Analyze and summarize the experimental data
Conclude the study in journal publications and patent filing
Job Requirements:
A PhD in optical engineering/optics, electrical engineering, or other related disciplines with a demonstrated track record in high-quality publications
Excellent in optical engineering or imaging technology is strongly desired
Excellent writing and presentation skills
