Lendlease Singapore is currently searching for an experienced Clean Utilities Supervisor to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

The Clean Utilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the construction, installation, Equipment move-in and commissioning of clean utility systems for projects. The role ensures that all clean utilities—such as purified water (PW), water for injection (WFI), CIP (S/R), clean steam, clean steam con. and clean gases—are installed and commissioned in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

Key Accountabilities

  • Supervise the construction and installation of clean utility systems on-site, ensuring alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.

  • Coordinate activities between subcontractors, vendors, End user and project teams to ensure seamless workflow.

  • Ensure clean utility systems meet GDP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA, ISO, and other relevant industry standards.

  • Conduct inspections and verify adherence to approved engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

  • Oversee system testing, validation, and commissioning processes and witness the testimonials.

  • Lead and guide a team of technicians, contractors, and other site personnel involved in clean utility construction and necessary coordination with other trades.

  • Monitor performance, provide training, and ensure team members follow best practices and safety protocols.

  • Maintain detailed records of installation progress, quality checks, and test results.

  • Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.

  • Ensure all documentation is completed for commissioning, qualification, and regulatory audits.

  • Identify and address issues related to design, installation, or equipment performance during construction.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions when necessary.

  • Enforce adherence to site safety regulations and procedures during construction.

  • Coordinate and engage in Equipment move in by deriving the sequence required for installation.

  • Review method statement and safe work method statement associated for the clean utility packages

  • Prepare and monitor short range programme based on the sequence of construction.

  • Plan and monitor resources based on the histogram.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Bio engineering, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in clean utility systems construction, preferably in pharmaceutical or biotech environments.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within Pharmaceutical/Petrochem/Oil & Gas

  • Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and ISO requirements.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometric drawings, and engineering blueprints.

  • Experience with clean utility systems like PW, WFI, clean steam, and process gases.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
