Reservation Staff

The Reservations Executive will manage daily reservation operations, ensuring inventory optimization and yield management to achieve set budget goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle reservation requests via phone and email, providing accurate and timely information to both internal and external customers
- Resolve and follow up on guest inquiries and issues prior to and post-stay.
- Prepare No-show Reports and ensure related charges are realized.
- Maximise occupancy and optimise room inventory to meet set budget goals.
- Ensure a consistent pricing/yield strategy across all segments and channels
- Manage OTAs offers, promotions and inventory allocation
- Manage group reservation and rooming list.
- Analyse, recommend, and implement room packages to maximize revenue during low and high-demand periods.
- Prepare and distribute required reports for meetings and budget planning
- Forecast demand and track variances.
- Proactively participate in discussions on group leads to ensure inventory optimisation and yield.
- Monitor competitor demand and rates.
- Develop and monitor the progress of upselling programs.
- Prepare and distribute required reports for meetings and budget planning
- Track market, geographic, channel, and key accounts to support the evaluation of marketing strategies and performance against budget.
- Maintain accurate RMS profiles and upload or update required information in a timely manner.
- Regularly audit the input and quality of data
- Responsibility for advertising promotions on OTAs as and when necessary
- Ensure all related systems are configured correctly, validated, and working to full capacity.
- Ensure organised filing of all required documents
- To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.
Requirements
- Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism
- Reservations & Front Office experience with serviced apartments or hotels required
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a similar capacity with demonstrated track record
- Good knowledge of data analysis, forecasting and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of Hotel System (RMS) and Channel Manager
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding analytical skills with ability to work independently
- Service-oriented with strong desire in achieving budget goals.
