About BU AME and Operations & Technical team
BU AME covers Australia, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, UAE and Saudi Arabia. The majority of our businesses are joint ventures between Vopak and local partners. Our BU AME team is primarily based in Singapore. Our Operations & Technical team in BU AME is accountable for safety & sustainability, service, operations and maintenance aspect. This team works cross functionally at BU level, and with their Global and Terminal counterparts.
Role of Asset Integrity Manager
The Asset Manager is responsible for governance and support of the maintenance function to ensure high asset reliability and integrity at competitive cost levels. This role manages the 3 Year Maintenance Plan (3YMP), content review, progress oversight; governance and compliance aspects per Vopak requirements; site audits e.g. THA, asset inspection; sharing of best practices; support with respect to maintenance challenges.
The Asset Integrity Manager works closely with peers in technical, projects and engineering at both Global and BU levels, and typically with the Maintenance/Technical function at the terminals. Cost is a major component of asset management so this role partners with our Finance colleagues.

What do we expect from you as an Asset Integrity Manager?
Industry experience
Functional experience in Operations or Maintenance > 5yrs
Engineering background
People management experience
Managerial experience > 5 years. Regional cross-cultural exposure, and Organizational skills to engage with senior site management as well as functional specialist
Supervisory experience over technical functions, contractors and service providers
Ability to work through others, collaborate as well as influence all levels
Exposure to working with different cultures from different countries in AME
Maintenance experience
Familiarity with general maintenance aspects tank storage facilities, process plants or facilities with a large component of steel (and therefore corrosion) and rotating equipment
Management of a portfolio of small projects, management of budgets
Technical experience/Safety experience
Familiarity with process industry standards, covering conventional petroleum and chemical products, and increasingly liquified, refrigerated or pressurized products
Experience in resolving gaps between industry/company requirements, and gaps in existing facilities
What are your core deliverables?
This role provides both governance as well as support to our terminals, in the following core areas:
3 Year Maintenance Plan
Drive and support the 3YMP development per terminal. This role engages with both terminal and global responsible persons in the development, review and eventual approval of this plan. This role partners with other functions such as Finance, IT/OT etc
Monitoring of progress, consolidation and reporting of such progress, and management of deviations
Maintenance Requirements/Compliance
Support the implementation and governance of Vopak's global maintenance management ambitions, standards and systems across Vopak terminals.
Managing and ensuring legislative, critical safety, and service delivery risks are continuously maintained with a good VMM program
Ensures that deviations Support and review Vopak standard deviation application and risk assessment for Global approval
Regular review key assets Preventive Maintenance execution for each Opco
Provides technical support and guidance on maintenance issues
Systems, Technology & Data
Support the application and use of Vopak maintenance toolings and dashboards
Joint review with MIP terminal and reporting savings to Global
Support the application of new technology and innovations
People & Community
Assist in competency training & development
Initiate forums and provide platforms for knowledge sharing
Communication of new developments and innovations, leading to adoption
Work Environment
This position is based in Singapore, with the majority of work done in Singapore. Field visits and travel are part of the job. This role engages extensively with Global as well as our terminals. This may require work outside fixed office hours, and occasionally travel and field visits.
