What a Precision Overmold Equipment Associate Engineer does in HP:


The Precision Overmold Work Center is looking for suitable candidates for the Associate Engineer position.

  • As part of the engineering team, the Associate Engineer (AE) will work closely with the Singapore Precision Overmold engineers, technical support, and stakeholders to ramp up POM in Singapore.
  • He will hold the primary role in the following areas;
  • Equipment owner: Tape mount, Laser scribe, Panel clean.
  • Backup role: SAW, Flash trim, and Overmold.

Individuals who will do well in this role in HP, usually possess:

  • Agile mindset. The individual understands that new product launches will be dynamic and subject to changes. The individual is willing to respond to changes quickly.
  • Independent, responsive, and has good communication skills.
  • Diploma in engineering or related discipline, preferably with three years of working experience.
  • Ability to interpret and apply statistical process control/design of experiment.
  • Understand equipment operations.
  • Ability to analyze the 2D layout and 3D CAD technical drawings. Familiar with mechanical designs.
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting process problems through systematic problem solving.
