We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Asset Servicing Analyst - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Asset Servicing Analyst 1 - C09) based in Singapore. In this role, you’re expected to:

The Asset Servicing Analyst 1 is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.

Responsibilities:

• This custody role related to Asset Servicing Corporate Action is mainly on physical securities processing and to act as a custodian safekeeping physical securities holdings.
• Job scope will include but not limited to the processing of share registration, scripless conversion, cross border processes.
• This role will also manage reconciling and processing positions related to Corporate Action interest and redemption payments, selected voluntary action events and proxy events.
• Performs multiple transactions of moderate complexity to achieve operating efficiency and a high level of productivity.
• Minimizes risk to the bank through the appropriate application of procedural requirements and adherence to audit and control policies.
• Participates in system testing.
• Continuously looks for and designs business required documents to reduce the number of manual touch points to process payments.
• Assist the team during periods of high volume work, provides back-up coverage, and performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1+ Years Related Experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Understanding of macros, VBA will be an advantage
• Proven success as a team player
• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
