About the Hiring Team

TiMi Montreal is a new AAA development team making an innovative open world role-playing game in Unreal Engine 5 that is part of the award-winning TiMi Studio Group and Tencent. The studio’s core team has a proven track record making hit open world games, including Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry and Watch Dogs. What the Role Entails

Award-winning TiMi Studio Group seeks a Senior Gameplay Programmer who is eager to create a new AAA multi-platform game for gaming communities around the world.
We are a new team within TiMi who is ambitiously looking to make massive, open world games for gamers to play for years to come. We are passionate about creating new, compelling worlds to play in and explore. Responsibilities

• Build core gameplay systems such as AI allies and enemies, vehicles and progression systems.

• Work closely with game designers or other trades to deliver high quality features.

• Establish strong gameplay foundations that will support a large production.

• Share a passion to innovate, especially in the design and development of open world games

• Act as a role model for less experienced developers.

Who We Look For

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional AAA game development experience

• Experience with Unreal Engine 4 is a strong plus

• Having shipped Open World titles is a plus

• Experience developing and sustaining live games is a plus

• Proficiency with C++

• Ability to quickly prototype and iterate in collaboration with others

• Self-directed, taking initiative to drive progress

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
