Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve coffee, food and other beverages to customers using prescribed recipes.
Provide good customer service and build a good rapport with customers.
Assist the Cafe Lead in planning new menus and learning preparation techniques for all food and drinks.
Keep the café area tidy and clean at all times.
Adhere to health and safety standards and codes.
Ensure all equipment stays well maintained.
Sell and share knowledge with customers in an enlightening manner on various ranges of coffee, drinks and food offerings.
Regulate inventory levels of coffee beans, fruits, pastries, etc. in the café.
Assist the Cafe Lead in innovating and improving processes for efficiency and effectiveness of the café.
Requirements:
Good understanding of various types of coffee and tea.
Prepared to work during weekends and public holidays.
Able to accommodate shift work.
Able to communicate in English.
Customer oriented and service focused.
Have a passion for music.
