Guitar Movement Pte. Ltd. is looking to expand our growing team of music professionals.
We are looking for guitar instructors to teach students through 1-1 and group lessons of all ages.

Founded and established in 2022, Guitar Movement SG is a guitar academy and repair space that focuses on guitar lessons and guitar maintenance.
Role Description
We are looking for part-time music teachers at Guitar Movement SG to join our growing team to conduct lessons on weekday and weekend afternoons, catering to our student's schedules.
Our teachers will be responsible for conducting 1-1 and group guitar, bass and ukulele lessons, writing lesson curriculum in addition to teaching music theory to students, nurturing and helping them grow in their musical journey. Our teachers will also be versed with examinations from the Trinity & Rockschool syllabus.
Key responsibilities
To teach guitar and bass using written curriculum in 1-1 or group settings in different contemporary musical styles such as pop, funk, blues, rock, metal, jazz, fingerstyle etc
To teach music theory and musical techniques such as aural training, sight reading, musicianship skills
To prepare lessons in relation to individual students' requirements and examination syllabuses (Trinity Rock & Pop, Rockschool)
To work with students of different skill levels and of various ages
To motivate and encourage students music learning journey
To assess individual students abilities and to provide feedback
To assist in reception duties such as providing course consultation and guitar servicing related consultation (Training provided)
To assist in administrative duties such as developing lesson curriculum, tailored according to students needs
To attend to student/customer enquiries with professionalism
To ensure school is in good operational order
Renumeration & benefits
Part-time $27 - $35/hr (3-4 days/week including weekends)

Requirements
Singaporean Citizen/PR/Student pass
Bachelor Degree, Diploma in Music, Grade 8 in (Trinity/Rockschool/ABRSM)
Minimum 1 year experience in teaching or related fields preferred
Experience working with children preferred
Cheerful personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
Have a great passion for music and teaching
Knowledge and experience in music education
Ability to operate various DAW's
Music performance experience is a bonus
Guitar repair experience is a bonus
