Prepare and verify the meals place for the daily menu, ensuring the number of meals aligns with instructions provided by section chefs.
Assist with daily food plating and portioning tasks, ensuring portion sizes and textures meet established standards.
Follow First In, First Out principles, use date labels and color codes for ingredients, and record cooking and holding temperatures.
Adhere to food safety, health, and workplace safety standards at all times.
Review the daily collection report and manage patient diet records accurately.
Identify recipes and ingredients, ensuring raw materials are stocked appropriately and not over-ordered.
Requirements:
Minimum completion of primary education with at least one year of experience in a restaurant, café kitchen, or food production environment.
Comfortable handling large-scale cooking operations and production processes.
