RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidates are expected to:-
Human Resource
1. Partner line departments to manage the full spectrum of Human Resource functions and activities such as:-
- Managing the recruitment function that comprises of hiring, selection and onboarding;
- Planning and conducting employee engagement and leadership development programs and initiatives;
- Coordinating with line managers and external stakeholders to sustain current and develop new talent pipelines;
- Identifying, recommending, and implementing opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Planning, implementing and reviewing key programs and initiatives which are related to workforce transformation, organizational development and innovation and change management programs; and
- Support ongoing and new Human Resource transformation projects.
Human Resource Administration & Support
2. Take lead in the administration of the company’s Human Resource Management System (“HRMS”), Peoplesoft, which includes but not limited to:-
- Managing foreign workers’ administration matters such as application and renewal of work passes and their dependent passes;
- Providing administrative support to the HR team and other departments on HR-related matters such as insurance administration, processing of invoices, office administration and processing of relevant government subsidies;
- Assisting in training and development matters such as registration of courses, updating of training records and following up on relevant training subsidies;
- Processing disciplinary, creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records;
- Managing benefits and compensation on HRMS;
- Offering ongoing support to users, addressing their queries and concerns related to the system;
- Managing the recruitment function that comprises of hiring, selection and onboarding; and
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the HR system, collaborating with IT support when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate should preferably:-
- Possess at least a Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Human Resource Management or equivalent;
- Have at least 2 years of relevant working experience;
- Be familiar with HRMS, preferably Peoplesoft;
- Be attentive to details;
- Be able to maintain high level of confidentiality;
- Is a self-starter and self-motivated individual with a flair for problem-solving;
- Is comfortable with ambiguity;
- Have a strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build cordial and effective working relationships with people at all levels;
- Have good knowledge in Employment Act and statutory requirements;
- Is proficient with MS Office and social media in terms of strengthening the brand name; and
- Possess video editing and Adobe Photoshop skills, which will be an added advantage.
