Sales Executive (Shipping Services & Freight Forwarding )

Challenges:

  • Handle daily correspondence with clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain close rapport with MLOs (Main Line Operators) and NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) customers.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Conduct daily telemarketing and cold calls to promote the company’s shipping services.
  • Actively follow up on sales leads and liaise with overseas agents for information.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and liftings to achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Send quotations, follow up with customers, and secure shipments.
  • Send Bills of Lading (B/Ls) to customers and assist with bookings when required.
  • Address and resolve any issues or problems raised by customers promptly.
  • Monitor sales performance and progress to meet or exceed monthly targets.
  • Participate in customer sales visits upon readiness and as required

What it takes:

  • Min 1 year and above of sales experience in Freight Forwarding or Shipping Lines industry
  • Preferable if have own transport
  • Proactive and customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks

Working hours:

  • Working Hours: 9.00am – 6.00pm (Monday – Friday)
