Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Maths Tutor Collaborator to oversee and contribute to various aspects of the mathematics department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in curriculum development, content creation, student engagement, and overall department growth. This role will focus on catering to international students following curricula such as IB, KET, PET, and IGCSE. Experience in AEIS will be considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design comprehensive mathematics curriculum and learning materials aligned with educational standards.
  • Deliver engaging and effective online/offline maths tutoring sessions to students of varying skill levels.
  • Collaborate with other educators and stakeholders to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Create assessments, quizzes, and practice materials to track and evaluate student progress.
  • Stay up to date with the latest teaching methodologies and trends in mathematics education.
  • Provide academic guidance and support to students, helping them build confidence and achieve their goals.
  • Manage and oversee departmental operations, ensuring smooth delivery of mathematics programs.
  • Train and mentor junior tutors to maintain a high standard of teaching quality.
  • Assist in marketing and outreach efforts to promote the mathematics department's offerings.
  • Utilize educational technology and tools to enhance the teaching and learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics to students of different age groups.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
  • Proficiency in using digital learning tools and platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students to love mathematics.
  • Prior experience in curriculum development is a plus.
  • Experience in AEIS will be considered advantageous.
