Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Science Teacher Collaborator to oversee and contribute to various aspects of the science department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in curriculum development, content creation, student engagement, and overall department growth. This role will focus on catering to international students following curricula such as IB, KET, PET, and IGCSE. Experience in AEIS will be considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design comprehensive science curriculum and learning materials aligned with international educational standards.
  • Deliver engaging and effective online/offline science tutoring sessions to students of varying skill levels.
  • Collaborate with other educators and stakeholders to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Create assessments, quizzes, and practice materials to track and evaluate student progress.
  • Stay up to date with the latest teaching methodologies and trends in science education.
  • Provide academic guidance and support to students, helping them build confidence and achieve their goals.
  • Manage and oversee departmental operations, ensuring smooth delivery of science programs.
  • Train and mentor junior tutors to maintain a high standard of teaching quality.
  • Assist in marketing and outreach efforts to promote the science department's offerings.
  • Utilize educational technology and tools to enhance the teaching and learning experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching science to students of different age groups.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
  • Proficiency in using digital learning tools and platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring students to love science.
  • Prior experience in curriculum development is a plus.
  • Experience in AEIS will be considered advantageous.
