Lendlease Singapore is currently searching for an experienced Turnover Engineer to join the Project Management & Construction team responsible for the build and delivery of a range of projects.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Key Accountabilities
Fully define and itemize the work scope in system packages in collaboration with the client to enable useful commissioning and start-up work to commence in a controlled and disciplined manner by utilizing all required engineering information.
Ensure all turnover and completions procedures and process controls are being implemented within all areas of the site and project.
Check all the construction deliverables in terms of discipline packs relating to P&ID and Non-P&ID systems are defined thoroughly.
Set-up and populate the Turnover and Completion Management System (Microsoft Access Database or other software) with all engineering data required for system turnover.
Develop and implement system completion and turnover procedure and other related procedures in accordance with systems completion specification.
Format, review and issue the construction inspection forms in a controlled manner by discipline to contractor for discipline pack compilation.
Review quality control records for pharmaceutical good document practice (GDP), good manufacturing practice (GMP) and good engineering practice (GEP)
Report the status of completion of all discipline packs, systems, and system punch list to ensure timely completion.
Furnish weekly progress reporting of turnover and completion status to management and other project personnel.
Consolidate construction discipline punch list into system punch list and provided an auditable trail to ensure that all punch list items are captured, completed, accepted, and closed upon completion.
Initiate and offer system walk down after the validation of system definitions component has been performed and all discipline packages are completed.
Manage the walk down and punch list management system.
Compile system turnover dossiers as QC certification are produced at the completion of construction activities.
Progressively transfer responsibility of the system to the client start-up team and ensured that the client fully accepts turnover certificate.
Requirements:
Recognized diploma / degree in Engineering or related disciplines
5 - 7 years of design and construction working experience in a project management position, preferably in Pharmaceutical projects.
Experience in a similar role in building/ refinery/ petrochemical/ process / pharmaceutical plant construction would be a distinct advantage
Good client and people management skills, ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, consultants and relevant authorities on project delivery
Ability to work and deliver results under pressure
Must have demonstrated track record in conversion of bid opportunities
Exceptional planning and negotiation skills, along with a strong customer focus
