Asst Manager / Senior Asst Manager, Transport
The NTU Office of Commercial and Auxiliary Services (OCAS) is responsible for the strategic planning, management, and marketing of commercial real estate (F&B, amenities & lifestyle services), hospitality and auxiliary services (car parks and shuttle bus services) in NTU main campus and NTU@one-north.
OCAS is looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join the team as Asst Manager /Senior Asst Manager, Auxiliary Services (Transport). In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing the Campus’ transport services, including the campus shuttle bus operations, car parks and EV charging facilities. You will also have the unique opportunity to shape the future of NTU Campus transport and mobility solutions as we prepare for the opening of the Jurong Regional Line in 2029.
The key responsibilities are:
Vendor Management
Ensure good governance and administration of contracts with vendors for bus, car parking and EV charging services.
Monitor & track services rendered by providers in accordance with contract requirements.
Ensure service standards are complied with and seek improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
Manage staff and external service providers to provide quality frontline services and project support.
Transport/Mobility budgeting and planning
Prepare transport budget, reports and keep track of financial targets.
Implement campus mobility plans and work with other providers to explore new opportunities.
Work on the technology roadmap together with the transportation plans to provide efficient and eco-friendly transport solutions on campus
Represent OCAS in working groups with other departments to conduct feasibility studies, identify gaps and seek solutions for the services.
Benchmark the department with industry best practices, advise on industry/market development and develop recommendations for the department to stay in the lead.
Stakeholder Engagement
Manage relationships with key stakeholders of the University and relevant government authorities.
And other related duties as assigned (e.g. Department’s Safety Liaison Representative)
Requirements:
Degree in any discipline. Diploma holders with extensive experience in the transportation function may be considered.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managing administration / procurement, contracts management, financial transactions, and operations management, preferably in the transport industry or in an Institute of Higher Learning.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills

This position would be based at NTU’s main campus. Appointment may vary and commensurate with candidate’s prior work experience.
