Purpose:
Upkeep critical System and Security infrastructure that supports different business functions of StarHub. The role includes design, implementation, operations, maintenance, and system training. He/she may lead important projects that require providing team members with instruction, guidance, and advice. He/she applies critical and analytical approach to identify the organization's business requirements and then design and implement application infrastructures to deploy services.

Responsibilities:
Oversee multiple system and security infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.

Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks.

Design and implement robust and scalable system and security architectures.

Ensure compliance with industry best practices and standards.

Develop and maintain technical documentation for system and security infrastructure.

Ensure adherence to all relevant security regulations and corporate policies.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits.

Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and systems.

Oversee the implementation of new systems and infrastructure components.

Manage ongoing operations and maintenance activities.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system and security issues.

Administer assigned systems, including capacity planning, provisioning, and performance tuning.

Ensure systems are configured and maintained according to security best practices.

Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.

Ensure timely delivery of services and adherence to SLAs.

Develop and implement strategies to improve service levels.

Conduct research to identify opportunities for cost savings, increased productivity, and new revenue streams.

Requirements:
Appropriate qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent

Basic knowledge of security policy and compliance, with at least 2 years of experiences in handling security and network infrastructure eg routers, switches, firewall, load balancers, proxies, authentication systems (AD, TACACS, Radius)

Good internet systems knowledge eg DNS, DHCP, IPAM

Hands-on proficiency in Linux and Window Server administration.

Basic understanding of distributed computing environment concepts and capacity planning of servers (hardware and software levels)

Understanding of Representational State Transfer (REST) and Application Program Interfaces (APIs)

Strong knowledge in technology infrastructure domain such as virtual server technologies, networking, internet protocols, scripting & monitoring tools, as well as infrastructure automation methodologies and technologies.

Strong analytical skill, creative and thinking out of the box when problem solving.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of telco network such as Mobile and Fixed will be advantageous.
