Job Description

  • Lead and provide guidance to and clear roadblocks for the team while they uplift and train the Active Ageing Centres (AAC) in the following areas:
    • Active Ageing
    • Buddying and Befriending
    • Care & Support
    • Social Connector
    • Community Screening
    • Network Building
    • Data Operations
    • Volunteer Management
  • Seek out the best practices of the various AAC Service Providers (SP) and find opportunities to share them with a wider audience Oversee the deployment of the managers and the team members to uplift and train all the AAC SPs with the assigned stakeholders
  • Oversee and manage the different stages of uplifting of the various AACs within the assigned cluster and also the AACs within the same SP
  • Oversee and work with AAC SPs to uplift their ability to deliver services to all other AACs under the same provider
  • Administer the support provided to the AAC SPs in connecting and building their network with external stakeholders such as, community and national partners for collaboration
  • Responsible for the deployment of the manager and the team members for programme outreach deployments, and also be the trainers for training sessions for external stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Minimum degree in healthcare or relevant disciplines, Master in gerontology will be an advantage with at least 12 years of relevant working experience in healthcare or community care sector with 4 years in managerial capacity
  • Leadership skills with experience in managing a team in a dynamic operations environment
  • Proven track record of implementing change and care transformation
  • Able to engage and form collaborative relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders as required
  • Strategic thinker and ability to work with complexity and high degree of uncertainty and change.
  • Strong written, analytical and communication skills
  • Highly motivated, independent and a good team player
