In line with our growth and commitment to pioneering in the Generative AI space, we are seeking a dynamic and driven Industry Development Manager to join our team in Singapore. As an Industry Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling our suite of Generative AI product offerings, as well as our Data Protection and Data Governance services. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, sales acumen, and a understanding of Generative AI technologies. Candidates with experience in data protection regulations will have an added advantage; however, we are also open to providing data protection training to the right candidate. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential clients, developing strong client relationships, and driving the growth of our Data Protection and Generative AI product line.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Promote and sell the company's new suite of Generative AI product offerings: Develop an in-depth understanding of the company’s new suite of Generative AI products; identify potential clients interested in AI solutions; conduct tailored pitches and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and capabilities of the Generative AI products; address client questions and concerns regarding the technology and its integration into their business processes; negotiate terms and pricing agreements; collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns highlighting the unique selling points of the Generative AI products; and work towards achieving sales targets specifically set for the Generative AI product line.
  • Implement business development strategy: Analyse business development strategies; create effective plans for the sales team, set long-range goals for market penetration; manage bid preparation and proposals; contribute to our online presence; leverage sales tools, adapt strategies to industry trends, forecast accurately; and build strong client relationships
  • Develop new business opportunities: Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities; researching and prospecting potential clients, identifying new business opportunities for growing revenue, strengthening market position; establishing connections, and obtaining insights from business network on developments in product/ service offerings in relation to industry needs; conducting onsite and online sales presentations, and nurturing relationships to generate business growth; present business trends and impact on new products/ services and distribution channels
  • Manage relationships with clients and channel partners: Communicate client feedback and market sentiments to internal stakeholders to enhance products/ services; develop engagement plans to strengthen client relationships, uncover business concerns; evaluate feedback for improvement, and manage resolution of client queries, ensuring a superior client experience.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support business opportunity: Collaborate with the product team to support the product roadmap; work closely with the project team on customer engagements; address customer and support issues with the support team, and collaborate with the marketing communications team for marketing collaborations, publicity, and testimonials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in Business Development, Sales and Account Management
  • Demonstrated success achieving quotas through direct selling efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, resourceful, and independent worker who is proactive and customer-focused
