The job

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Vice President of Partner Sales to drive our growth and partnership ecosystem across Asia Pacific. This position is responsible for driving the overall APAC Indirect sales revenue. In this pivotal role, the incumbent is expected to drive long term growth, encouraging long lasting Alliances and Partner relationships, as well as overseeing revenue through software compliances. To be successful in this role, one should have strong collaborative ways of working with Direct Sales teams, strategic thinker to develop the solid Alliance and Partner plan, and exemplary leadership in developing strong Partner Sales leaders in respective APAC markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Reports directly to the SVP APAC as a valued member of the APAC leadership team

  • Lead directly or functionally APAC Partner Sales organization, comprising Alliance / Global SI sales, Channel Account Managers, Partner Programme Manager and Compliance Sales Managers

  • Responsible for the overall design, execution and performance of Indirect GTM strategy for APAC in various Sell-with, Sell-to and Sell-through Partners approaches

  • Collaborate and work closely with respective Market Leaders to execute the GTM plans

  • Oversee Quarterly Business Reviews with key Alliances and Partners, and being current with performance of various partners

  • Drive Partner Leaders to ensure respective partners provide accurate sales cadence, timely follow-up on sales leads, plan and execute marketing campaigns and promotions, and drive end-customer satisfaction

  • Drive the recruiting and expanding the right partners with specific expertise and market coverage required by go-to-market strategy, not limited to resellers, strategic solution providers, systems integrators, etc.

  • Work with cross functional teams (internal and external) at leadership level to ensure timely resolution of the partners escalations or issues

  • Responsible for revenue opportunities through Compliance sales in APAC

  • Build and maintain relationships with all key partner principals and remove obstacles to grow business

  • Oversee efforts to maintain partner competence through enablement, training and certifications, including any governance matters

  • Keep abreast of developments in competitive landscape and partner ecosystem

Essential requirements

  • Minimum 15 ~ 20 years direct enterprise level software sales and/or partner management required with a track record of sustained success

  • Related work experience, demonstrable knowledge and experience in managing channel/partners, Value Added Resellers and sales teams across APAC region

  • Knowledge and experience of Operations Technology (OT) application and AVEVA product lines (PI systems, Operations Control, Asset Performance, etc.) and other operation and engineering applications would be an advantage

  • Able to demonstrate value added selling through AVEVA FLEX Program driving ARR through subscription

  • Strong social and organizational skills, and ability to develop network for cross-functional working

  • Solid understanding of channel and distributor ecosystem of different APAC markets in the OT domain

  • People leadership experience in leading people managers and highly experienced regional sales / channel sales teams

  • Willing to travel within APAC for business purposes
