The combined needs of economic growth, energy security, decarbonization, electrification and digitalization are driving unprecedented demand for Energy and Infrastructure investment across Asia Pacific. With the rising demand for private sector led solutions to this challenge and the need for innovative financing and transaction solutions in the infrastructure and renewables sectors, JLL invites experienced analysts to join our newly established Asia Pacific Energy and Infrastructure team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to support our operations across Singapore and significant markets in the Asia Pacific region providing equity, financing and capital raising services to clients in the renewable energy, storage and energy transition sectors.
As an Analyst, you'll be a key team member, engaging in M&A and financing advisory activities, capital raising for project development, and lead financial modeling and valuations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Directors and Managers to advise clients on various mandates within leading renewable energy, storage and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and enhance in-house financial models and undertake valuation tasks.
- Conduct comprehensive research on market growth, technological advancements, and policy developments.
- Create key client deliverables and pitch materials, grounding your work in thorough analysis.
- Participate in client and investor meetings, assisting with business development activities.
- Produce thought leadership content and sector insights, while researching new projects and markets.
- Assist in the utilization of existing JLL AI tools to generate effective data management and predictive tools for market and client insights
- Contribute to the growth of the Energy and Infrastructure team by handling diverse internal tasks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of professional experience, ideally in a corporate finance team active in either sell or buy side activities.
- Degree focused on Accounting/Finance or Renewable Energy (Technology or Policy).
- Positive mindset and eagerness to learn and develop within the renewable energy or financial services sectors.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to address qualitative and quantitative challenges confidently.
- Proven experience in developing and analyzing corporate finance, valuation of financing advisory models in Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for producing high-quality documents.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for contributing to a high performance team environment.
