About The Job
The successful candidate will support academic programmes within the Teaching & Learning Centre, ensuring smooth operations across areas including student recruitment, programme administration, running student activities, marketing, and partnerships. S/he will support examination activities and take charge of related external liaisons.
What You Will Be Doing
As part of the TLC team, the successful candidate is expected to work closely with the Head of Programme and the Manager to support the Centre’s activities, including the following:
1. Execute programme administrative duties
- Support timetabling efforts, including set up of programmes and course details (across related platforms such as the Student Information Management System and Learning Management System)
- Coordinate course development and course implementation processes
- Support assessment-related matters, including liaison with programme and external examiners, associate faculty, course supervisors, Head of Programme, and Examination Administration Department
- Communicate with and respond to queries from stakeholders, academics, students, and other administrative executives
- Liaise with external partners associated with the programme(s)
- Support programme marketing and student recruitment
- Organise programme events such as school visits, talks, social and promotional events, etc.
2. Perform needs analysis and evaluation
- Collate and analyse programme data and prepare reports for stakeholders
3. Support Centre admin
- Support procurement processes such as facilitating payments to assessment writers, course instructors, etc.
4. Other duties as assigned by Manager/ Director
Job Requirements
- Degree holder in any discipline
- Relevant work experience preferred
- Proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills
- Resourceful team player who can also work independently
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and liaise with stakeholders
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including advanced Excel functions for data collation and spreadsheet computations
- Driven and meticulous, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
- Demonstrated ability to establish connections with potential new partners
