JR71819 GQ Ops MAM MES System EngineerAt Micron, we are searching for an outstanding System Engineer (Manufacturing Execution System and Digital GQ Planning System) to join our highly skilled team in Singapore.
As a System Engineer in GQCP Team, you will be responsible to own and manage Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and to influence its corresponding business processes.
We will have plenty of opportunity to drive Digital Transformation for GQCP to provide near real time headcount, capacity, and budget resources requirements. We will scope out requirements to setup First-Of-A-Kind Digital Transformation of modelling, actual performance indices, feed forward loop and assessment tools for lab tools. We will then collaborate with site-internal and network partners to enable systemization of strategic resource planning. We will develop, facilitate and/or lead systemization project during Initiation, Planning and Execution Phases. We will identify risks early, manage issues and drive initiatives to closure. This will culminate in enabling the team to provide prompt response on the strategic assessment, planning and improvements. You will be making a difference in the team experience as well as (internal) customer experience.

Responsibilities:
- Independently manage MAM and MES system configuration for Singapore and India Gujarat Global Quality Lab Operation
- Configure and maintain MAM and MES process flows and system configurations for all product families and product types.
- Understand engineering and operations needs and business processes and translate those processes into MAM and MES.
- Coordinate efforts with counterparts in other locations to ensure global alignment of flows and business logic. Respond to support calls related to MAM and MES tracking issues.
- Support system transition from MAM to MES
- Represent GQ Ops team to ensure the necessary system setup are called out, planned, and implemented accordingly for enablement of MES in Singapore and India Gujarat.
- Influence corresponding business process for MES that is best to support GQ and its operations.
- Digital Transformation for GQ Ops central planning systems
- Analyze current and the required future processes and systems that is instrumental to give insights on (1) resources requirement and (2) opportunities for improvement that support business needs.
- Initiate collaboration to scope out system requirements.
- Collaborate with main partners to plan for digitalizing systems.
- Communicate status of projects.
- Report issues, risks, changes, and drive initiatives for recovery, mitigation, and preventive measures.
- Assist with documentation and training needs for new processes.
- Manages projects to ensure desired results are completed within the required timeframe.
Requirements:
- Effective written and spoken professional English.
- Experience in MAM and or MES
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skill.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
- Able to work in several areas of a project development life cycle.
- Great teammate, preferably with experience working on projects with global collaborators.
- High adaptability and flexibility to deal with variety of problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.
