Job Description
    Procurement of materials, equipment and spare parts for fleet vessels in a timely manner;
    Consolidate orders to minimize transportation and handling costs;
    Ensure items supplied to the vessels come with the required certificates and documentation. Always treat safety and environmental compliance as a top priority;
    Request for quotations, bid’s evaluation and conduct proper negotiations;
    Carry out necessary arrangements for timely delivery of items to the vessels;
    Review and resolve disputes with suppliers concerning price / quantity / quality of goods supplied to the vessel before the invoice is paid;
    Check and ensure all invoices and supporting document meet the requirements of Finance department for payment;
    Re-specifies items in consultation with the Technical/Fleet Team in order to follow pertinent standards;
    Track and analyze market conditions and price trends for equipment and materials;
    Responsible for collecting, processing and analyzing feedback of procured equipment and materials from Technical/Fleet Team, take necessary follow up and corrective actions;
    Assist to compile data to analyze the performance of suppliers;
    Ensure proper documentation and contract administration;
    Other work assigned by superiors from time to time.
Job Requirement
    Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement or related field;
    Minimum 3 years of experience in Maritime industry;
    Mature, meticulous, proactive, resourceful and hands-on;
    Strong communication and negotiation skill;
    Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines;
    Good computer skill;
    Good team player and able to work well under stress in a fast-paced environment;
