We are seeking experienced and passionate Piano Teachers to join our dynamic team. If you have a deep love for music, a strong background in piano pedagogy, and a desire to shape the next generation of musicians and educators, this opportunity is for you!
Overall job Responsibilities:
Instruct and Inspire: Provide high-quality piano lessons to students of all levels, fostering their growth and passion for music.
Mentorship: Assist in mentoring and guiding junior teachers, sharing your expertise to help them develop their teaching skills and pedagogical approach.
Curriculum Development: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our music curriculum, ensuring it meets the highest standards of classical music education.
Leadership: Lead by example in both teaching and professional conduct, setting a standard of excellence for the entire teaching team.
Core Responsibilities:
Chart learning goals for each and every student.
Train students to perform in recitals and other types of performances or competitions.
Meet parents to discuss about student's progress.
Help out in events and other ad-hoc projects.
Attend meetings with the team and leader.
Prepare students for the ABRSM examination.
Train students in the fundamental skills - Technique, aural, theory, sight reading and performance.
In charge of the administrative aspect for the students (ordering books, recording learning progress etc.).
Job specifications and requirements
Minimum Bachelor in Music (Teaching/Performance) or other related related studies.
Candidates with Diploma in Teaching/Performance may be considered if they have at least few years of teaching experience and supporting credentials.
Extensive experience in teaching piano, with a strong track record of student success.
Proven ability to mentor and support junior teachers.
Passion for classical music and innovative teaching methods.
Ability to work well with young children.
Mature disposition with a can-do attitude.
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.
Strong understanding of the ABRSM syllabus and the classical music industry
Cheerful and bright personality
Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently with a strong customer service mindset.
