The Assistant Manager, Margaret Lien Centre for Professional Success (MLCPS), will support the efficient running of career courses and workshops. This role involves operational and administrative support, as well as conducting data analyses on surveys, skills demand, and related metrics. The ideal candidate will combine strong organisational skills with an analytical mindset to ensure the smooth execution of programmes and the provision of actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational and Administrative Support:
Coordinate and manage the logistics for career courses and workshops, including scheduling, venue booking, and liaising with facilitators and participants.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to career courses and workshops, including attendance lists, feedback forms, and resource materials.
Assist in budget management, tracking expenses, and preparing financial reports for the office.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures in all course/workshop-related activities.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect and analyse data from pre- and post-course or workshop surveys to measure programme effectiveness and participant satisfaction.
Conduct market and skills demand analyses to identify trends and inform the design of future courses and workshops.
Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Maintain databases and dashboards for tracking programme metrics and outcomes.
Utilise basic programming skills (e.g., Python, R) to enhance data visualisation and develop custom analytics solutions would be an added advantage.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a primary point of contact for participants, facilitators, and external partners, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Support marketing and outreach efforts to promote courses and workshops to target audiences.
Collaborate with internal teams to align course/workshop offerings with organisational goals and priorities.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in programme management, operations, or a related role.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Event management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution of workshops or similar events.
Detail oriented and results driven.
Pro-active problem solver with a customer centric approach.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or Power BI) and survey platforms, will have added advantage.
Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and software (e.g., SPSS, R, or Python), will have added advantage.
Knowledge of emerging trends in skills development and workforce planning, will have added advantage.
