Within A*GA, the Scholar Deployment & Development team crafts policies and implements programmes to ensure our scholars not only realise their aspirations but also make meaningful contributions to the research ecosystem in Singapore.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team. In your role, you will play a pivotal part in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to design, implement and continuously improve programmes that ensures the holistic development of scholars in alignment with A*GA's mission. The role is essential to scaling key talent initiatives, including mentorship programmes, scholar engagement and development programmes.

What to expect:
Review and manage scholar development frameworks to ensure progressive policies and processes, as well as smoother transition between each milestone of the scholarship journey;
Work closely with stakeholders to design and implement innovative programmes that enhance the academic and professional growth of scholars;
Oversee current talent initiatives such as the mentorship programme, providing dedicated support to both mentors and mentees to foster impactful relationships and promote excellence in mentorship across A*STAR.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in talent development to keep scholars' development policy relevant;
Compile and analyse data and feedback from scholars and stakeholders to drive decision making in the review of scholar development processes;
Strengthen the scholar community to help build a vibrant scholar network through regular communication and engagement programmes;
Facilitate panel discussions between scholars and senior stakeholders to foster a collaborative exchange of expertise, ideas, and perspectives;
Maintain robust communication channels including monthly EDMs, A*GA intranet and other platforms to engage and connect scholars;
Plan and budget for scholar engagement & development initiatives
Contribute to cross-teams initiatives like talent programmes and scholarship recruitment events, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years of work experience;
Experience in managing internal communications and talent development programmes an advantage but not necessary;
Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills;
Strong communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to translate concept into implementation plan;
Resourceful and motivated;
Pro-active, commitment to excellence, attentive to details and results-oriented;
Able to work independently and in a team to deliver results under tight timelines;
Proficient in Microsoft Office with Powerpoint skills
