Key Responsibilities:
Product Development Support:
- Assist in developing and executing the product roadmap for the company.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless product development and testing.
- Ensuring products are tested to local EN & Fire test requirements.
Market and Trend Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in smart home technologies and security.
- Analyze competitor offerings to identify gaps and opportunities for product differentiation.
Customer Insights and Feedback:
- Gather feedback from customers, installers, and partners to understand user needs and preferences.
- Translate feedback into actionable product enhancements and features.
Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain product documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
- Assist in preparing sales and marketing materials to highlight product features and benefits.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Act as a bridge between the product team, sales, marketing, and support teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Support product launch activities, including demos, training sessions, and promotional events.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track product performance metrics, such as adoption rates, customer satisfaction, and return on investment.
- Provide regular updates and recommendations to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a product-focused role, preferably in the smart home or IoT industry.
- Strong interest in technology, home automation, and security solutions.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with IoT devices and wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Zwave, Matter).
- Experience with product management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI principles for hardware and app integration.
- Understanding of local EN and fire testing requirements.
