Early Learners Language Teacher

Plan and implement curriculum and programmes:

Planand implement developmentally appropriate teaching, learning and caregiving activities aligned to the relevant curricula frameworks

Design developmentally appropriate learning materials and resources to enhance quality of learning environment

Evaluate documentations of children’s learning and development to better inform planning and teaching

Customize classroom management strategies

Review health, safety, nutritional and hygiene practices in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures

Build stakeholder relationships and partnerships:

Foster relationships with families to facilitate the continuity of care and learning between home and centre

Coordinate activities between families and community stakeholders

Engage families, caregivers, community stakeholders and volunteers to develop programmes and services

Manage family and community programmes

Develop and implement centre, family and community initiatives and programmes

Develop outreach activities to promote centreprogrammes and services

Evaluate family and community initiatives and programmes for improvements

Conduct routine caregiving:

Conduct and review results of routine caregiving assessment

Guide routine caregiving practices according to Standard Operating Procedures

Evaluate routine caregiving improvements

Uplift professional practice

PromoteCentre’s vision, mission and core values

Co-developappropriate teaching and caregiving methods based on emerging sector trends, technologies and tools

Identify areas for improvement to enhance work performance

Propose improvements to professional development and service quality improvement activities

Must have Advanced Certificate in Early Years or other relevant qualification

Must be EY2 certified

More than 3 years of experience in ECCE

Passionate about children and their development

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office - Word

Good interpersonal and organization skills.

Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Able to communicate well with internal & external customer.

Good command of Mandarin – verbal and written
