The Regional Occupancy Strategist is responsible for providing strategic space and occupancy planning expertise in support of long-term supply and demand planning, space analysis and space efficiency reporting, and projects related to workplace strategy and design within a client’s real estate portfolio. The ROS will coordinate with business partners who support specific business units or product areas (PA) in order to coordinate and manage initiatives spanning across multiple PAs.Job Description
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders and business partners, Global Workplace team, and vendor partners
- Develop site occupancy plan for supply and demand: analysis of forecasted headcount and seat supply projections, supporting graphs, stacking plans, move scenarios, challenges and pros/cons for each recommendation
- Use creative and analytical thinking to aggregate data from multiple sources and generate solutions for occupancy problems, providing analysis for client decision making
- Drive to improve Client awareness by providing trending analysis: new hire, terminations, moves, vacancy, actual vs forecast
- Alter/recommend changes to the plan as business drivers, mergers, acquisitions or dispositions arise
- Facilitate neighborhood planning, planning strategy meetings, or town halls in support of occupancy plans
- Implement processes in accordance with Client Playbook for Space & Occupancy Planning
- Support communication plan as it pertains to occupancy plan
- Strive to maintain best in class space and occupancy data
- Support change management as it pertains changing work space and work style
- Facilitate hand-off of approved occupancy plans to the Move, Add, Change (MAC) team for implementation
- Create and maintain trackers for cross-PA initiatives used by other vendor partners
- Create and maintain detailed schedules and milestones for cross-PA initiatives
- Conduct project initiatives meetings (including taking and sharing minutes) and track deliverables assigned in meetings
- Ensure space planning activities are executed in compliance with SLAs and client satisfaction targets
- Create and deliver planning proposal to convey option summary, option outcomes and option benefits and risks related to each activity
- Able to provide occupancy planning support for PAs, if needed, in support of requested activities - programming, planning analysis, solution development inclusive of space plans, occupancy master plans, furniture layouts, test fits and block plans
- Provide coaching support for new OP team members
