Description

Active Directory Architecture & Design:

  • Lead the design and architecture of new and existing Active Directory environments, ensuring alignment with business requirements, security best practices, and industry standards.
  • Develop and document detailed architectural diagrams, design specifications, and implementation plans.
  • Analyze existing hybrid identity environments, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to optimize performance, security, and manageability.
  • Define and implement standardized Active Directory configurations across region or global.

Migration Planning & Execution:

  • Lead the planning and execution of complex Active Directory migrations, including on-premises to hybrid cloud migrations (Microsoft Entra ID).
  • Develop and implement migration strategies, including phased approaches, data migration, and user provisioning.
  • Oversee the migration process, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Windows Server migration-related issues.

Cloud Integration:

  • Design and implement hybrid Active Directory environments that integrate on-premises and cloud-based directory services.
  • Leverage cloud-based identity and access management solutions to enhance security and improve operational efficiency.
  • Explore and evaluate new cloud-based technologies and their potential impact on Active Directory.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other IT teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network, EUC, Security, Application) to ensure successful implementation of Active Directory solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies related to Active Directory, cloud computing, and identity and access management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Good years of experience in IT service management or in Tech Risk with a focus on governance and control within an IT enterprise environment
  • In-depth knowledge of hybrid Active Directory architecture, design, and implementation best practices with a strong understanding of advanced Active Directory features (e.g., Trusts, Sites & Services, Replication, Group Policy).
  • Experience with complex Active Directory environments with multiple domains, forests, and trusts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills & ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience with architectural frameworks and methodologies.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID Premium)
