Safety Officer
The Job:
Responsible for the roles and responsibilities of a Fire Safety Manager
Ensure compliance with MOM and SCDF safety regulations
Conduct safety orientations, trainings, meetings, inspections, and audits, as well as follow up with corrective and preventive measures
Manage and update risk assessments in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA), ensuring that all risks are identified and addressed
File accident and injury reports with the relevant authorities
Submit mandatory safety reports to internal and external stakeholders
Maintain all documentations related to safety for audit purposes
Develop and drive safety, health, and environmental initiatives to foster a strong safety culture across the workforce
Manage sustainability reporting and initiatives
The Person:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental / mechanical engineering
At least 3 years of relevant experience
Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) & Fire Safety Manager (FSM)
Well versed in ISO 45001 and BizSafe Star
Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
