The Job:

  • Responsible for the roles and responsibilities of a Fire Safety Manager

  • Ensure compliance with MOM and SCDF safety regulations

  • Conduct safety orientations, trainings, meetings, inspections, and audits, as well as follow up with corrective and preventive measures

  • Manage and update risk assessments in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA), ensuring that all risks are identified and addressed

  • File accident and injury reports with the relevant authorities

  • Submit mandatory safety reports to internal and external stakeholders

  • Maintain all documentations related to safety for audit purposes

  • Develop and drive safety, health, and environmental initiatives to foster a strong safety culture across the workforce

  • Manage sustainability reporting and initiatives

The Person:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental / mechanical engineering

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience

  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) & Fire Safety Manager (FSM)

  • Well versed in ISO 45001 and BizSafe Star

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
