FREELANCE MINI BUS DRIVER
Whether you would like to make extra money or you are a senior who wants to continue to stay active and help seniors, we welcome you to join our team of freelance drivers. Company vehicle provided. Our freelance drivers will be assigned work on weekdays only. You will be paid on a 4-to-5-hour assignment basis and you can expect to earn $70 per assignment. Each assignment may involve multiple trips.
Key Responsibilities
• Safely operate the company bus and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Assist our members with boarding and exiting the bus in a courteous manner.
• Communicate effectively with our members, providing assistance and answering questions, when required.
• Create a positive and welcoming environment in our bus and ensure bus safety procedures are carried out.
• Fetch members and employees for events.
• Follow predetermined routes and events schedules, adjusting as necessary to ensure on-time arrivals.
• Responsible for managing pre-event and post event supplies available on the bus.
• Collect and send office and event supplies to and fro office and various locations specified by management.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify any potential issues with the bus.
• Maintain a clean and organised bus interior, ensuring all safety measures are in place.
• Report any accidents, delays, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Provide logistics support to event team to ensure smooth conduct of events eg. deliver event supplies to specific event locations and etc, distribute event supplies to members.
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role.
• Possess valid Class 3 and Bus Driver’s Vocational Licence (BDVL).
• Good traffic record in the past 24 months.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
