Building Manager
The main duties/ responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of the supervision plan and oversee the creation of supervision implementation guidelines.
Review relevant application documents from the construction team and submit to the Chief Supervision Engineer.
Participate in evaluating subcontractor qualifications.
Guide and monitor the work of site supervisors, providing regular updates on professional supervision activities to the Chief Supervision Engineer.
Inspect the quality of materials, components, and equipment arriving at the site.
Oversee inspections of work batches, hidden works, and sub-projects; take part in the acceptance of sub-projects.
Address any quality issues and safety hazards identified on-site.
Review and manage engineering changes, assisting with their evaluation and resolution.
Organize the preparation of supervision logs and contribute to monthly supervision reports.
Collect, summarize, and assist in the organization of supervision documents and materials.
Participate in pre-acceptance and final acceptance processes for the project.
Plan, organize, lead, and coordinate the entire site team, including subcontractors and vendors.
Manage manpower, materials, machinery, and site facilities to meet project needs.
Track site activities according to the project sequence and schedule. Monitor logistics support in line with site requirements.
Communicate and clarify the work schedule to all relevant parties.
Explain the method statements and risk assessments to the team.
Identify and resolve site issues and conflicts among stakeholders. Foster and maintain strong working relationships with all parties involved.
Coordinate and supervise all site activities.
