Job Summary

The position is an IT sales professional responsible for finding leads and setting appointments for Account Managers. He/ she will be undergoing sales training and will be responsible for focusing on hunting customers and introducing the services that our Company provides. The target customers will be within the channel (VARS, Resellers, System Integrators, MSP’s, and OEMs).

The Sales Associate position serves as a precursor to the Account Manager role. Typically, the Sales Associate spends 6 to 12 months in this role before advancing.

Responsibilities :

  • Receive training and mentorship from Senior Sales Managers on the sales techniques, customer relationship management system, internal resources, and other tools for prospecting and engaging potential customers

  • Learn the skills to create targeted prospecting lists, develop effective outbound messages, identify key influencers and decision-makers, and discover opportunities to secure new and additional business

  • Participate in training sessions focused on technology, sales techniques, and prospecting engagements to deepen understanding of our business and how to identify qualified sales opportunities.

  • Learn the internal processes and understand how different parts of the organization provide support to our internal and external customers.

  • Upon training, prospect for new customers via cold calls, face-to-face meetings, conferences, LinkedIn and email marketing.

  • Identifies prospects by reading telephone and zip code directories and other prepared listings.

  • Calls prospective customers by operating telephone equipment, automatic dialing systems, and other telecommunications technologies.

  • Sell to VAR / Resellers, Distributors, Outsourcers, and Manufacturers.

  • Present the company value proposition during prospecting.

  • Setup appointments for Account Managers

  • Influences customers to buy services and merchandise by following a prepared sales talk to give service and product information and price quotations.

  • Completes orders by recording names, addresses, and purchases; referring orders for filling.

  • Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures.

  • Secures information by completing data base backups.

  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirement :

  • University or college degree, preferred.

  • Preferably 1 to 2 years sales experience.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while understanding the necessity for communicating work efforts with other employees and organization.

  • Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details.

  • Analytical problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and within short deadlines.

  • Pleasant disposition and working attitude
