Job Description for F&B Management Trainee
General Purpose
Lead, plan, and coordinate the operations team to ensure optimal performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability. This role focuses on implementing effective methods and strategies to enhance overall operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage local operations under the guidance of the Directors, overseeing daily business activities across all outlets and ensuring local profit and loss performance.
Coordinate and monitor the functions of various departments within the organization.
Provide inspiring leadership to drive the organization forward.
Develop and implement policies, strategic plans, and operational procedures.
Foster a positive company culture that promotes high morale and top performance.
Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing processes.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation, including labor laws, hygiene standards, and licensing (e.g., business, liquor, etc.).
Work closely with the board of directors to define values, mission, and both short- and long-term goals.
Identify and address challenges and opportunities to ensure the company’s growth and success.
Outlets Management
Key Responsibilities:
Manage outlet sales budgets and KPIs to meet or exceed targets.
Control outlet costs, including labor, food, utilities, and operational expenses.
Improve operational workflows and update standard operating procedure (SOP) manuals.
Enhance outlet promotions and marketing strategies.
Gain in-depth knowledge of the menu and operations to train and lead teams effectively.
Handle customer feedback, complaints, and suggestions professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
People Management
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in team recruitment and hiring processes.
Conduct and review team training programs, including Orientation and On-the-Job Training (OJT).
Monitor team members’ training progress and conduct performance evaluations.
Additional Responsibilities
Communication:
Oversee and improve the efficiency of support services such as Marketing, HR, and Finance. Ensure smooth coordination and communication across functions.
Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service:
Manage customer support and assist in planning and executing sales and marketing activities.
Meetings and Analysis:
Plan and conduct monthly outlet meetings, setting targets and action plans.
Perform monthly performance analyses and audits for outlets, identifying key areas for improvement.
