We are looking for a Research Fellow to support research works in CMNE. The role will focus on developing the low-dimensional nanophotonics, focusing on the nonlinear and quantum optical properties of emerging low-dimensional materials.
Key Responsibilities:
The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on development of low-dimensional nanophotonic structures for quantum and nonlinear optical applications. The roles of this position include:
Conduct research and develop theoretical models for low-dimensional material nanophotonics.
Apply numerical models, design photonic nanostructures and measurement of the research above.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to joint research projects.
Job Requirements:
PhD in Optical/Device Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with low-dimensional nanophotonics.
Experience in matlab, MEEP, RCWA and other softwares and algorithms.
Excellent publication track records.
Good understanding of nonlinear and quantum optics.
Strong knowledge of optical physics, while experimental experience would be preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage projects, and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to scientific rigor.
