Our client is a leading global medical technology company that develops, manufactures and sells medical devices and instrument.
Working location: Tuas Avenue (Transport provided Islandwide)
Working Hours: 12 hours permanent shift day OR night (7 am to 7:15 pm and vice versa) (Shift Pattern - 4/3/4/3)
Job Scope:
Operate and maintain production machinery to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Prepare and handle materials required for production processes.
Safety and ISO14001 Environmental Accountability:
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace by adhering to company policies, rules, and procedures.
- Active involvement in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promotes recycling, replacement and reduction of resource materials.
Safety & Health Accountability:
- Encourage the observance of all safety programs and training assigned to you.
- Such programs are to be attended in a timely manner to ensure that work tasks carried out are in accordance with the company’s safety guidelines and SOPs.
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Accountability.
- Comply with GMP rules and procedures to maintain high-quality production standards.
Apply SOP and/or SWI in daily operations to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Carry heavy equipment of up to 25kg as required during operations.
Requirement:
Minimum Nitec or higher in any engineering discipline
Internship or prior experience in manufacturing is preferred.
In a production environment, this role involves heavy load lifting. Candidates must be comfortable with physically demanding tasks and demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety.
